Ning Fei
Senior Counsel
Ning Fei is a globally recognized leader in international arbitration. Since February 2023, he has served as a Governing Board Member of the International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA), contributing to global arbitration standards. He made history at the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) as the first mainland Chinese Council Member (2013–2019) and the first appointed to the HKIAC Nominations Committee in 2024. Mr. Fei is also Vice-Chair of the ICC Belt and Road Commission (since 2022), Vice President and member of the CAA International Arbitration Center (reappointed 2023), Vice-Chair of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA) Dispute Resolution and Arbitration Committee, and a member of the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA) Advisory Committee.
As an arbitrator, Mr. Fei is empaneled at leading institutions, including the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), SCIA, International Court of Arbitration of the ICC (ICC Court), HKIAC, Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) and Korean Commercial Arbitration Board (KCAB). Mr. Fei has also been a court member of the Arbitration Court of the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) since January 2023.
Mr. Fei’s distinguished legal career spans decades, representing multinational clients in hundreds of complex litigations across China’s judicial system, including landmark cases before the Supreme People’s Court, and high-stakes arbitrations in top international forums. Consistently recognized as a Chambers Band 1 dispute resolution lawyer since 2006.
