HOZU and Appleby Host Cross-Border Dispute Resolution Evening Drinks Reception

On December 9, 2025, HOZU jointly hosted an evening reception with Appleby at the Hong Kong Jockey Club in Beijing, centered on cross-border dispute resolution. We convened an outstanding group of leading cross-border dispute resolution attorneys in Beijing, who gathered for an evening of networking, thoughtful conversation, and the exchange of ideas to mark the end of the year.

The event brought together experienced cross-border dispute resolution lawyers from leading domestic and international law firms. In a relaxed setting, participants engaged in wide-ranging and candid discussions on topics including the evolving role of third-party funding in the Asia dispute resolution landscape, future law firm–funder collaboration, and perspectives on the wider Asian legal market. As the year drew to a close, coming together in person with peers from the dispute resolution community offered a rare moment for thoughtful exchange and reflection.
